I just bought an expensive peanut butter in a small shop in Amsterdam. I believe it is much more expensive then average price of a can of peanut butter around Amsterdam.


Then why I bought it?

It brings back my childhood memories. The time that I spent with my family every morning during breakfast. The same brand, yes it is. I found the same brand after 4 years living here.My family, especially my dad, never want to change the brand. He loves it. We love it.

One day, it was getting more expensive and we decided to use other brand. Result? Bah! It is just bad. Our lovely peanut better has different taste. Much more lekker!

But unfortunately we have to keep using it because our favorite peanut butter is way too expensive.

When I saw that peanut butter in the etalage of that small shop, I didn't think twice to buy it. Those times just back into my mind. All the conversation on the table. All stupid things like eat the peanut butter directly from the can, and many other things. It just brings back my lovely memories with my family in Indonesia.

Miss them really.
